Here’s how we’re going to change new zealand for good.
Just like drink driving, seatbelts, or public health, New Zealand needs a national campaign to promote courtesy and respect - and change our behaviours. Emotionally powerful, above the line advertising including television, radio, OOH, and press is being developed.
1: National Advertising
2: PR and Editorial
The way we treat each other effects everyone, and everyone has a personal story about it courtesy and respect (or our lack of it). A concerted PR strategy and media partnerships plan will be implemented to get the issue onto our front pages, news broadcasts, and talkback radio.
Leveraging the reach and platforms of our existing network, and finding new allies online to help further influence the conversation is a critical part of our communications strategy. Community pages are being developed and promoted on all major social media channels.
3: Social Media
4: Activation
Activations with Respect NZ partners will reward positive behaviours from customers, and help get people involved at ground level in making a movement for a better New Zealand, while activations with educational providers will help sow the seeds for generational change.
Courtesy and respect are a two-way street. Ensuring Respect NZ partner employees and staff are courtesy trained and qualified gives them the right to display the Respect NZ Hallmark on their businesses - and a visible signal they deserve courtesy in return.
